And I'm just trying to see the Citroen DS and SM that the people are blocking.

Really? No love for the 1 of 7 Ford Shogun? It's like an American Renault R5 Turbo... well more like the Cliosport V6 before there was such a thing.

I liked that too, but owning a DS or an SM is one of the things on my dream list. :P

Much more obtainable. I remember finding out about the ShoGun and realizing that they only had made 7 and there was pretty much no chance. I had a sad.

Well, the Fiesta is still out there, and ford has made better V6s since then. Are you Jalop enough to try to build your own?
(It's okay if you aren't. I'm not either.)

Maybe some day. Would need a hell of a garage though. My only problem with opening up that Pandora's box is "why stop there." I can and have come up with crazier concepts. I'd probably rather build one of those if I were going to go to the trouble of essentially re-engineering a chassis.

I'd make a Fiesta with the new 2.3 Ecoboost.
ECOgun.

Could be a good combo. Mid-engined hatches just appeal to me for some reason. There's something about taking a utilitarian but ugly body style and removing the utility to make an ugly but sporty car that seems to make no sense. The only thing that tops on my insane-o-meter is twin engine cars.

I want to drive that shogun so badly!
